Ensure your biomedical professionals know how to properly maintain and service your ZOLL® equipment. Our ExpertCare® technical training team offers a variety of classes to help you keep your equipment working properly.

Choose from a variety of programs, including hands-on learning and virtual training. Your technician or team receive training directly from ZOLL in the format that works best for you.

All training includes 24/7 training resources with E-learning, our web-based learning platform.

For training at our ZOLL locations, attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and covering related expenses, such as airfare, transportation, lodging, and meals outside of class time. All courses are taught in English; a strong understanding of technical English is required. Please note that tuition rates may change without prior notice.

Monitors & Defibrillators Technical Training


Virtual webinar (3 hours)
Unlimited attendees

Live webinars are open to biomedical professionals from multiple ZOLL customer sites. Webinars are ideal if you have fewer biomedical professionals and do not require a dedicated training class for your team.

Topics include:

  • Battery management
  • Data, configuration, and software updates
  • Device operation and functionality
  • Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters
  • Preventive maintenance procedures

Virtual remote learning (4 hours)
Up to eight attendees

Virtual remote learning provides exclusive training for your team of biomedical professionals. An experienced instructor explains the fundamentals of device maintenance, and your team has time to ask questions and practice the preventive maintenance procedure.

Topics include:

  • Battery management
  • Data, configuration, and software updates
  • Device operation and functionality
  • Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters
  • Preventive maintenance procedures

In-person training (customer site or ZOLL headquarters; 2 days)
Up to 10 attendees

This two-day biomedical technical training class is hosted at our ZOLL Medical Corporate Headquarters in Chelmsford, MA or at your organization.

Topics include:

  • Basic repair and disassembly
  • Battery management
  • Data, configuration, and software updates
  • Device operation and functionality
  • Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters
  • Preventive maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshooting

Ventilator Technical Training

In-person training (ZOLL customer education and training center; 3 to 4 days)

In-person classes range from three to four days and are hosted at our ZOLL customer education and training center located in Mettawa, Illinois.

Topics include:

  • Basic repair and disassembly
  • Data, configuration, and software updates
  • Device operation and functionality
  • Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters
  • Preventive maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshooting
  • Hands-on calibrations and verification testing

Virtual webinar recertifications (2.5 hours)

Live webinars are open to biomedical professionals who have participated in the full certification class. Certification is valid for two years from issue date and is required to be renewed every two years.

Topics include:

  • Overview of ventilator systems
  • Data, configuration, tech bulletin, and software updates
  • Preventative maintenance review
  • Internal components and functionality
  • Troubleshooting
